Catacyst:

The legend of Catacyst starts from humble beginnings. As a child, his brain was easily corrupted, and thus anime found a grip for its grubby fingers. Early symptoms included frequent watching of shows like Outlaw Star, Dragonball, and Gundam Wing. Eventaully, however, the disease began to subside and many years were spent living a fulfilling life. One fateful day, Adult Swim happened to be playing the entire series of Fooly Cooly. This attacked Catacyst’s weak-point for massive damage, and he was forever lost. Soon he began to read manga, and even going so far as to purchase legitimate DVDs. His obsession has led him so far as to progress into the world of the light novel, and even engaging in play with a few visual novels. The final, killing blow struck a few years ago when he was exposed to the world of Touhou, and we will forever miss him. Still, the remnants of his corpse has been known to continue posting, reading, playing, and watching, and he is currently the only resident expert on the Touhou series.

Animezirow:

A long, long time ago, a single child was concieved on a dark and stormy night beside the quaint ricefield patches of the Ching Clan.  The young couple, blessed with what they thought to be a miracle, prayed to the gods in hopes of assuring a bright future for the child – their new family.  However, fate, as always, was a fickle mistress. That same night, a band of wolves that had been terrorizing the village for months took the small hut as their prey.  After searching and tearing up the dwelling without finding any food, the wolves turned to the humans and snatched away their newborn daughter. The rest of the night, the couple sobbed as their dear child had been kidnapped – by wild animals, no less.  Never again did they see Xiao Yi, which was the name they had originally thought to give their daughter. Amazingly enough, that child is very much alive and is living a normal teenage life in a foreign country, the United States of America. Despite having been taken from her parents, she possesses no recollection of the event nor psychological abnormalities caused by the trama.  Nowadays, she attends a charter school in what she dubs, “the middle of nowhere”, to pursue of dream of becoming an artist, living in the streets of San Francisco and bumming small change from passersby. In her spare time, she enjoys sketching, reading manga, and procrastinating in general (while listening to awesome Asian music). So there ya go.  How animezirow came to be.
