Swing Holic Volume 5 & The World of Touhou Doujin Music
As most of you in the loop know, Reitaisai 7 took place in Ikebukuro last March. The other day, during one of my Touhou music fevers, I decided to browse the slew of goodies that were released. While looking through the VERY wide selection, I stumbled up on the latest from the folks of the Swing Holic music circle. Being one of my favorite circles in the Touhou musical universe, I decided it would be appropriate to introduce the wide world of Touhou musics to the viewing public. Touhou Hisoutensoku: Now in English
So them cool cats in the Touhou English-speaking community are up to their usual magic. With this new patch, fans will be pleased to know they can actually understand in-game text as well as navigate the game’s many menus. This patch comes courtesy of the chaps down at Gensokyo.org, and it can be downloaded from their blog post here.
If you haven’t played a Touhou game before, Scarlet Weather Rhapsody and its predecessor, Immaterial and Missing Power, are a great place to start.

Touhou 12.5: Double Spoiler
So it appears the we, the people, have another Touhou title on our hands. Though the name appeared to me as a simple taunt at first, it seems to be a promising sequel to the infamous Touhou 9.5: Shoot the Bullet. It appears that yet again, our camera-wielding tengu friend, Aya Shameimaru, is caught in the defenseless and frustrating business of journalism in Gensokyo. Do not despair, my readers, oh my readers, for Aya is supported by ZUN’s newest member of Gensokyo, Hatate Himekaidou. Together this dynamic duo of the camera will accomplish the task of painstakingly photographing each and every nightmarish boss fight since Mountain of Faith. I’m going to be giving a little bit of my insight and knowledge on the game thus far, as well as thoughts on the game style itself.
