Strike Witches STG!
I would first like to apologize to everyone, despite appearances, this is not a Strike Witches blog. I’m just on a serious kick given the festivities of the DVD release, second season, and ridiculously awesome figures coming this summer. Nevertheless, a good game is something we all can enjoy, and this doujin (fan-made) shoot-em-up is not only fun, but free! Touhou 12.5: Double Spoiler
So it appears the we, the people, have another Touhou title on our hands. Though the name appeared to me as a simple taunt at first, it seems to be a promising sequel to the infamous Touhou 9.5: Shoot the Bullet. It appears that yet again, our camera-wielding tengu friend, Aya Shameimaru, is caught in the defenseless and frustrating business of journalism in Gensokyo. Do not despair, my readers, oh my readers, for Aya is supported by ZUN’s newest member of Gensokyo, Hatate Himekaidou. Together this dynamic duo of the camera will accomplish the task of painstakingly photographing each and every nightmarish boss fight since Mountain of Faith. I’m going to be giving a little bit of my insight and knowledge on the game thus far, as well as thoughts on the game style itself.
